The PDF merge tool joins multiple PDF files into one continuous document while preserving every page as-is โ€” no re-compression, no quality loss, no page limit imposed by a server. It is built for anyone who regularly assembles documents from separate sources: submitting a scanned contract with its appendices, bundling monthly invoices into one file for accounting, or combining a cover letter, resume, and portfolio into a single attachment.

How to use

  1. Open the converter and switch to the PDF Merge tab.
  2. Drop two or more PDF files into the drop zone, or click it to browse.
  3. Use the arrow buttons next to each file to arrange them in the order they should appear in the final document.
  4. Press Merge PDFs โ€” the combined file downloads immediately.

When to use this

Supported formats

Input: standard PDF files (.pdf), including scanned PDFs and PDFs exported from Word, Excel, or design tools. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Output: a single PDF containing all pages of every input file, in your chosen order.

Privacy

Merging happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Your PDFs are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server โ€” the pages are read and reassembled in your device's memory, and the merged file is saved directly to your downloads folder. See the full privacy policy.

FAQ

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

No fixed limit. Because merging runs on your own device, the practical ceiling is your device's memory. Dozens of typical documents merge without trouble; very large scanned files (hundreds of MB each) may take longer on older hardware.

Will merging change the quality of my pages?

No. Pages are copied into the new document exactly as they are โ€” text stays selectable, images are not re-compressed, and page sizes are preserved even when the source files use different dimensions.

Can I change the order of the files before merging?

Yes. After adding files, use the up and down arrow buttons on each row to arrange them. The merged PDF follows that order from top to bottom.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be read by the merger. Remove the password first (for example by opening the file with its password and re-saving or printing it to PDF), then merge the unlocked copy.
